I promised something less wintery with my last post, and I promise these cards will deliver!
The "Market Fresh" stamp set was one that took me a while to warm up to. I've never been much for colouring, and this one BEGS to be coloured - needless to say, it didn't scream my name! But my friends, I've been practicing my skills and I'm so excited to share this set of three Market Fresh cards.
I'm sure you've noticed, but each card is the same as the others - Two main colours, the same layout, the same embellishments - but each with its own piece of produce. I was just so in love with how it turned out that I tripled it. I think the strawberries might be my favourite, but the colouring on the lettuce was the last one I did and where I finally felt like I was "getting it." Practice DOES make perfect... eventually!
I love to keep colouring simple with our Blender Pens. You can use the same pen for multiple colours, just by wiping it off between them, and I love that you can achieve beautiful shading using just the Blender Pen and an ink pad. They're a totally under-rated part of our catalog!
